Job Description:

Patient Care Technician – Pre-Surgical Center

We invite you to join our team as a Patient Care Technician at our Main Campus. We are seeking a motivated nursing professional who is eager to demonstrate compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a significant impact in our Pre-Surgical Center.

Role Overview:

  • Assist patients promptly and efficiently under the guidance of a Clinical Nurse.
  • Handle situations with integrity and compassion.
  • Responsible for monitoring vital signs, performing EKGs, and collecting specimens.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team, providing support during procedures as necessary.
  • Utilize basic computer and data entry skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related role such as NA, PCT, EMT, Med Tech, Phlebotomist, or LPN.
  • If less than 2 years of experience, a Nursing Assistant or other healthcare-related certification obtained within the past year along with one year of relevant experience is required.
  • BLS certification must be obtained by the time of hire.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts flexed between 10 AM - 8 PM with Saturday and holiday rotation.
