Field Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our team at Synergy Staffing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of our products, as well as providing technical support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software systems, as well as the tools and diagnostics utilized for installing and servicing our products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, responding promptly to their technical requests and needs.
- Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis on malfunctioning components, and provide expert-level technical support to our customers.
- Ensure that system installations are performed correctly, based on customer-specific drawings and models.
- Read, interpret, and utilize technical drawings, schematics, electrical diagrams, and manuals to complete system installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Inform technical decisions and provide expert-level guidance to our customers.
- Perform advanced diagnostics in a solo environment, and create installation and maintenance documents for internal and external use.
- Provide clear and professional communication to our customers, both in person and via phone or email.
- Research and resolve technical issues, utilizing both internal and external resources.
- Minimum 3 years of heavy automotive engineering and diagnostic experience.
- 2-year associate's degree in engineering technology or equivalent experience.
- Intimate knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems, with proven ability to troubleshoot and repair independently.
- Ability to comprehend detailed product schematics and documentation, and follow complex work instructions.
- Advanced communication and computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office and/or GSuite.
- Experience with 3D modeling software.
- Demonstrated strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with other team members to solve problems.
- Proven track record of working independently and under pressure, with little to no supervision when necessary.
- Ability to create and keep to timelines and deadlines, and prioritize workload without direct supervision.
- Strong sense of pride in work done, showing in quality and customer satisfaction.
- Frequent physical activity, including bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting tools, parts, and materials (up to 70lbs).
- Work in a variety of environments, including office, outdoor, warehouse, and shop conditions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work around a variety of particulates, lubricants, and chemicals.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; CDL a plus.
- Significant domestic travel required (up to 75%).
- Flexible hours of operation.
