This is a full-time salaried role with extensive travel obligations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between engineering and field service teams, ensuring all technical documentation and customer-specific modifications are precise and current.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; address engineering inquiries promptly.
  • Conduct diagnostics and perform root cause analysis on malfunctioning components.
  • Develop expertise in our products and their various electrical, software, and hardware components.
  • Ensure accurate system installations according to customer-specific specifications.
  • Interpret and utilize technical drawings, schematics, and manuals for installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Influence technical decisions based on field observations.
  • Conduct thorough system testing upon project completion.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics independently.
  • Create installation and maintenance documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain open communication with clients to provide troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective and reliable service.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues using both internal and external resources.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive engineering and diagnostics.
  • Associate degree in engineering technology or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with proven troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Ability to understand detailed product schematics and follow complex instructions.
  • Strong communication and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and/or GSuite.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software.
  • Demonstrated analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to work independently and under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Additional Job Requirements:
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, climbing, and lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments, including office, outdoor, and industrial settings.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to work with various materials and chemicals.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
