Key Responsibilities:
Compliance and HR Information Systems
- Research and monitor federal and state regulations impacting KPFF policies, developing comprehensive HR compliance resources.
- Lead annual compliance initiatives, including the Affirmative Action Plan and EEO filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
- Support KPFF's HRIS by testing and implementing new features, utilizing data to inform HR strategies.
- Create tailored reports in the Paycom HRIS and PowerBI to support various people initiatives.
- Coordinate annual salary and benefits surveys, collaborating with local offices as necessary.
Benefits and Leave Management
- Work with the Leaves Specialist to ensure effective administration of KPFF's Leaves of Absence programs, providing expert guidance to managers and employees.
- Address benefits inquiries and manage enrollments in Paycom HRIS, ensuring employee information accuracy.
- Contribute to annual Open Enrollment processes and design materials to enhance understanding of KPFF's benefits offerings.
- Conduct regular audits of benefit plan deductions.
- Process, audit, and reconcile monthly and quarterly billing for benefit providers.
- Build strong relationships with employees and managers to resolve benefits-related questions.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with Benefits and Payroll teams regarding compliance and updates to the Paycom HRIS.
- Encourage teamwork with other internal General & Administrative (G&A) teams.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all compliance processes, providing training and resources to empower stakeholders and promote a proactive compliance culture at KPFF.
Qualifications:
- 5 - 7 years of experience in supporting various HR processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Paycom experience is advantageous).
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for data analysis and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
- Proven track record of completing projects with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships and effective collaboration.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Professionalism in handling sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Ability to thrive both independently and within teams, showcasing adaptability in dynamic environments.
Work Environment:
- Typical duties are performed in an office setting, primarily at a desk or computer.
- Ability to engage with a computer for extended periods and communicate via telephone or virtual platforms.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 15 lbs may be required.

Compensation:
The base salary for this position is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills.
