Job Description

Human Capital Resources and Concepts Inc. is a consulting firm specializing in resource management for federal organizations. Our consultants have in-depth training and experience in Department of Defense and other federal entities, including the Intelligence Community. We offer subject matter expertise in all-source analysis, mission support services, and information technology. Our services address strategic issues and everyday business practices, delivering objective, informed, and actionable plans to assist your organization.

We are seeking a Federal HR Specialist with a background in the Federal Government for a fast-paced, energetic role in a federal agency. This position requires the incumbent to apply skills for assistant managers and program staff in Federal HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare job analysis, draft job announcements, issue certificates of eligible candidates, and communicate with hiring managers and customers throughout the hiring process.
  • Process personnel action requests for recruitment and placement actions following the Office of Personnel Management's Guide to Processing Personnel Actions and agency policies.
  • Use a tracking/intake system to ensure timely processing and provide a status of pending actions upon request.
  • Input, edit, and update HR information into the integrated NFC payroll and personnel system, resolving issues concerning personnel and payroll data.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Extensive background in staffing and placement on the Federal Government level.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform job analyses.
  • Demonstrated experience with NFC, PAR processing, and EPIC Web.
  • Ability to successfully pass security clearance process.
