The Chief Nursing Officer is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the nursing services and patient care operations at IASIS Healthcare. This role requires a strong leader who can provide strategic direction, manage resources, and ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive-level leadership to the nursing department, including strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments, including medical staff, administration, and clinical teams, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Develop and manage budgets, including staffing, supplies, and equipment.
- Recruit, retain, and develop nursing staff, including competency-based training and professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and other key performance indicators.
- Participate in hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of strategic plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in nursing management, with a minimum of 1 year in an executive leadership role.
- Current RN licensure and certification in nursing administration (CNA) or a related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and drive change.
