Client Support Specialist

Position Overview
Big I Minnesota is in search of a dedicated individual who embodies our core principles of being open-minded, diligent, positive, and a collaborative team member while maintaining the utmost integrity. This role is pivotal in our organization, starting as a client relations representative with the potential to advance to an agent role based on demonstrated skills and progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, directing inquiries appropriately and taking messages as needed.
- Facilitate the completion of new client intake forms for agents to provide accurate quotes.
- Collaborate closely with your team lead on various tasks, including but not limited to:
- Maintain a digital filing system for client records in line with Big I Minnesota's protocols.
- Engage in projects assigned by your team lead for professional development.
- Handle incoming mail, respond to correspondence, and prepare outgoing communications.
- Provide information and assistance to customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Help ensure client contact details are up-to-date.
- Conduct research on inquiries related to client accounts.
- Assist in managing calendars and scheduling appointments.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as required.
- Travel for company training as necessary.
- Efficiently manage and execute tasks across the organization.
- Seize opportunities for travel to foster collaboration and support across our various locations.
Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain an insurance license.
- A minimum of two years of experience in administrative support is preferred.
- Proven customer service experience and orientation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and external parties.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in technical computer skills and familiar with business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM systems).
- Ability to multitask and maintain focus amid frequent interruptions.
- Capability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
