Job Summary:
The Client Service Representative (CSR) Lead will manage the daily functions of the client service team, ensuring a remarkable experience for our clients and their pets.
The CSR Lead will oversee front desk operations, train and guide CSR associates, and serve as a bridge between clients and veterinary staff.
This position demands strong leadership abilities, a commitment to client satisfaction, and the capacity to excel in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision:
Inspire, coach, and guide the client service team to provide outstanding client support.
Resolve any client or associate concerns swiftly and effectively, escalating when necessary.
Offer constructive feedback and develop growth plans for CSR associates.
Client Interaction:
Welcome and assist clients in a courteous and professional manner.
Address client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards clients at all times.
Administrative Duties:
Supervise patient check-in/check-out processes and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Manage the CSR Daily Task List to guarantee all tasks are completed.
Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and inviting.
Process financial transactions, including invoicing and payments.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between clients and veterinary staff to ensure clear and effective communication.
Share important information and updates with the CSR team.
Conduct training sessions to keep the team informed and motivated.
Provide constructive feedback to the Client Service Supervisor.
Operational Efficiency:
Create and implement standard operating procedures to improve workflow and client service.
Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and client materials.
Assist with marketing and community outreach initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 1-3 years of customer service experience.
Experience in a veterinary or medical environment is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer systems and office software (e.g., MS Office, veterinary practice management software).
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position, may require some weekend and evening shifts.
Fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Frequent interaction with clients and their pets, including handling animals of various sizes and temperaments.
Compensation and Benefits:
VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, health and well-being programs that provide resources and training.
Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $21 to $24/hour.How to Apply:
