Job Title: Director of Family Development

At Dream Center Evansville, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Family Development to lead our family development team. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position that reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Job Summary:

The Director of Family Development will oversee the entire portfolio of family development programs and services, ensuring that they are effectively implemented and aligned with our cradle-to-career pathway. This includes program oversight, team leadership and development, program budget management, process and policy development, case management data systems oversight, programmatic growth and improvement, and grant writing and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire portfolio of family development programs and services, ensuring alignment with our cradle-to-career pathway.
  • Provide structured leadership to the Family Development team, ensuring team members have the support and resources necessary to succeed.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the Family Development department, ensuring program budgets are effectively planned and executed.
  • Develop and refine processes and policies that guide the Family Development team, ensuring alignment with ethical standards and best practices.
  • Oversee the use of case management data systems, ensuring accurate recording, accessibility, and use to inform decisions.
  • Lead efforts to grow and enhance family development programs, identifying service gaps and developing new programs to address unmet needs.
  • Seek out funding opportunities through grant writing and lead long-term strategic initiatives that advance the mission of the Family Development department.
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience in human services, case-management, or social work.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or Mental Health Counseling with at least 6 years of experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and expertise in group presentations.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suites preferred.
  • Personal saving faith in Jesus Christ.
