Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Professional to join our team at Advantix Development Corporation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to improve and maintain the physical quality of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance work orders and repairs, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards.
  • Supply Management: Ensure that maintenance supplies are in stock and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Vendor Management: Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Assistant Director of Facilities with scheduling and communicating with vendors and contractors.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve issues in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural, and appliances.
  • Communication: Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor and residents regarding the status of work and issues that arise.
  • Property Inspections: Perform property inspections, address issues, and alert the Maintenance Supervisor of items requiring attention.
  • Emergency Response: Work on-call when scheduled and perform emergency maintenance work as required.
  • Special Projects: Perform special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Assistant Director of Facilities.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and four (4) years of related maintenance experience. Certifications in OSHA 30, HVAC, and CAMT are preferred.
  • Driver's License: Possession of a valid Indiana Driver's License.
