Position Overview:
As the leader of the sales department, you will oversee properties with substantial booking capabilities and local catering revenue. Your role will involve managing both proactive and reactive sales initiatives to ensure the achievement of property sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide daily leadership to the sales team, ensuring alignment with overall booking goals and revenue targets.
2. Implement the brand's service strategy and initiatives throughout the sales process, focusing on fostering long-term, value-driven customer relationships.
3. Assess the property's engagement in various sales channels and cultivate strong partnerships to enhance market positioning.

Marketing Management:
Oversee the marketing budget to facilitate the creation of tailored campaigns and promotional materials aimed at driving revenue and fulfilling property objectives. Collaborate with regional marketing teams to ensure effective national promotions.

Strategic Development:
Formulate and execute comprehensive strategies that deliver exceptional products and services, meeting the expectations of both customers and property associates while ensuring a solid return on investment.

Candidate Profile:
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, accompanied by 4 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing.
- Alternatively, a 4-year degree in a related field with 2 years of experience in a similar role is acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A 4-year college degree.
- Proven supervisory skills and experience in lodging sales.
- Demonstrated career progression within the hotel industry.

Core Competencies:
- Manage the development of strategic account plans and marketing communication activities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to enhance sales performance.
- Foster strong relationships with local organizations to boost brand awareness.

Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales goals and strategies, ensuring alignment with the brand's business objectives.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to attract and retain top talent, ensuring compliance with regulations.
