Role Overview: We are in search of a personable, meticulous, and organized professional with a background in hospitality or real estate, who possesses a genuine enthusiasm for both interpersonal relations and numerical analysis. This position involves strategizing, executing, and delivering valuation projects from proposal inception to finalization. You will oversee the strategic direction for business valuation assignments, mentor and support team members, and drive business development. You may lead a vibrant team of experts, ensuring the delivery of top-notch appraisals and consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property assessments and engage with property management through field research and necessary travel.
  • Perform comprehensive market research and analysis to grasp supply and demand dynamics and competitive asset positioning for accurate forecasting.
  • Assess real estate assets using various methodologies, including discounted cash flow analysis, direct capitalization, revenue multipliers, or sales comparison approaches.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with property owners, management firms, developers, municipal officials, investors, and lenders.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Real Estate Valuation.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Real Estate, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in hospitality operations and/or real estate is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects in an organized manner.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with solid skills in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team and cultivate industry relationships.

Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel for asset inspections.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to perform job duties, including reading from printed materials and computer screens.
