Job Summary

The Student Support Manager is a key member of the ICEF Public Schools team, responsible for creating a positive and supportive school culture that fosters academic excellence and social-emotional growth for all students. This role requires a strong leader who can execute research-based best practices, build strong relationships with students, families, and staff, and drive initiatives that promote student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • School Culture: Participate in the development and implementation of a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) program, model positive relationships with students and families, and support teachers and staff in building strong relationships.
  • Student Discipline: Develop and implement a high-quality discipline program that aligns with PBIS, trauma-sensitive approaches, and restorative practices, and ensure the fidelity of implementation.
  • Parent Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with parents, students, and staff to discuss student issues and concerns, and provide support and resources as needed.
  • Documentation: Monitor, document, track, and analyze student behavior data to identify needed supports and strategies, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (required), Master's Degree (preferred)
  • Experience: Significant experience in developing school-wide systems and procedures, driving initiatives with staff, and leading school-wide initiatives
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Qualifications: Must believe in and live out ICEF's Core Values, ensure achievement of ICEF's mission, and have an unwavering belief that all students can learn and achieve success in school
Working Conditions

The Student Support Manager will work in a fast-paced school environment, interacting with students, families, and staff to promote student success.
