K-12 College & Career Counseling Initiatives: 60%

  • Engage with stakeholders to formulate a comprehensive plan for college and career counseling.
  • Develop curriculum that integrates college and career exploration from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Ensure that all programming is culturally relevant and appropriate for various age groups.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Counseling Team to enhance students' readiness for college and career pathways.

Leadership in Student Services Programming: 40%

  • Analyze data to support students who are at risk of underachievement.
  • Work in conjunction with social work initiatives to meet student needs.
  • Establish intervention systems for behavior and attendance.
  • Oversee processes related to attendance accountability.
  • Facilitate professional development focused on positive behavior interventions and support.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a California Clear Pupil Personnel Services Credential.
  • A Master's degree in education, counseling, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within an educational environment.
  • Experience in program development and management.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
