Key Responsibilities:
K-12 College & Career Counseling Program (60%):
- Engage with various stakeholders to formulate a strategic approach for college and career counseling.
- Develop curriculum that integrates college and career exploration from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Ensure that all programming is culturally relevant and suitable for various age groups.
- Collaborate with the Academic Counseling Team to enhance students' readiness for college and career opportunities.
Leadership in Student Services Programming (40%):
- Analyze data to identify and support students at risk of underachievement.
- Work alongside social work professionals to address the diverse needs of students.
- Establish systems for behavior and attendance interventions.
- Oversee processes related to attendance accountability.
- Facilitate professional development focused on positive behavior interventions and support.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a California Clear Pupil Personnel Services Credential.
- A Master's degree in education, counseling, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within an educational environment.
- Proven experience in program development and management.
- Experience working with a diverse range of student populations.
