Job Summary

Halff is seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to fill our Project Manager role in our Oklahoma City, OK office. As a key member of our Public Works and Land Development practice, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the design and construction of infrastructure projects for the Public Works and Land Development practice.
  • Develop and implement project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead and manage a team of professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and CAD designers.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local entities and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Oklahoma, or transferable within 2 months.
  • At least 10 years of experience in land development and/or utility and public works design.
  • Strong knowledge of storm water drainage systems, detention concepts, erosion & sediment control, modeling software, reports, and design.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Experience in project scope development, professional services fee development, and staffing projections.
  • Experience in producing winning project proposals as lead professional/project manager.
  • Strong ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Proficient in project management, administration, and supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in mixed-use, residential, commercial, or industrial land development.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
