About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Transportation Project Manager to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Oklahoma City office, you will be responsible for leading engineering design teams on various transportation projects, including highway and roadway projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering design teams on transportation projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with design staff, regulatory agencies, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Manage project production, tracking manhours, costs, and expenses, and communicating project progress to senior management.
  • Identify new business opportunities, coordinate project presentations, and promote the firm's capabilities to existing and prospective clients.
  • Participate in project opportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and the preparation of qualification/experience statements.
  • Coordinate and participate in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors, drafting complex professional service agreements and addenda.
  • Direct project teams and client compliance with contract terms, monitoring subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments.
  • Prepare project work plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets, communicating these to project team members and monitoring/managing project production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
Requirements
  • BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering.
  • 15+ years of engineering experience, with highway/roadway design and project management experience.
  • Knowledge of Schematic and/or PS&E processes is essential.
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project financial management and team management skills.
  • Oklahoma DOT experience is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Experience with Tolls is a plus but not a requirement.
  • State PE required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
