Customer Support Representative

VanderHouwen is seeking a dedicated Customer Support Representative. This position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service standards and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction within a fast-paced project setting.

This position requires onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Support Representative

  • Manage customer inquiries and issues through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat, with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Diagnose problems and offer prompt solutions to customers, ensuring a smooth service experience.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company offerings and tools to effectively assist customers and resolve their concerns.
  • Record customer interactions, transactions, feedback, and complaints to support ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with technical teams to identify recurring issues and propose enhancements.
  • Relay customer feedback to relevant departments to help refine customer service and project results.

Qualifications for the Customer Support Representative

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service or call center roles.
  • Reliable and capable of managing responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with various software applications and platforms, with a quick learning aptitude for new technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A high school diploma is required; additional education or certification in customer service or related fields is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits are available to eligible VanderHouwen contractors, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a matching 401k plan.
