Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Culinary Director who is dedicated to providing the highest quality of food and service. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and positively impact both guests and team members.

This role requires a hands-on, organized, and creative leader who thrives under pressure. The Culinary Director will be responsible for:

  • Driving culinary initiatives and overseeing operational systems.
  • Establishing menu content criteria and ensuring its execution.
  • Managing production logistics and procurement protocols.
  • Achieving food cost, labor, and menu mix objectives.
  • Collecting and analyzing performance metrics to refine menu development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and guide team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Develop and maintain recipes and standard preparation procedures.
  • Coordinate training for kitchen staff to meet service standards.
  • Hire and train culinary teams to deliver impeccable service.
  • Prepare operational reports and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain excellent hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor food quality and sanitation.
  • Oversee culinary operations across multiple outlets, ensuring service standards are met.
  • Foster a positive work environment and support team development.

Qualifications

  • Creative problem-solver with a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Proven track record of organization and self-motivation.
  • Strong team management and development skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage diverse teams.
  • Experience with financial management, including P&Ls and budgeting.
  • Degree or training in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of four years in an Executive Chef role and ten years in culinary management.
  • ServSafe and Food Safety Handler certifications are required.
