This platform will enable our clients to experience the potential of infinite, on-demand, globally scalable infrastructure capacity, allowing them to provide efficient, productive, and compliant services to their customers.

The Oracle Cloud Product Solutions Engineering team is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to collaborate with strategic clients in their adoption of next-generation cloud services.

This role is not sales-oriented; instead, it offers the chance to join a team of principal technical advisors, serving as the 'voice of the customer' within Engineering for major Fortune 500 and multinational organizations.

As a member of the Product Solutions Engineering team, you will directly impact how our largest and most strategic enterprise clients utilize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

You will assist executives in embracing agility and facilitating high-impact transformations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving swift customer adoption of IaaS platforms by engaging directly with clients and account teams to anticipate their needs.
  • Understanding the strategy and execution plan for cloud adoption focused on customer excellence.
  • Articulating transformational concepts to executive decision-makers and influencing their technology strategies.
  • Maintaining and enhancing your technical skills to contribute meaningfully to the technology community.
  • Presenting to clients at various levels, from engineers to C-suite executives.
  • Monitoring product/program/project progress from initiation to delivery, addressing technical matters with clients.

Additionally, you will:

  • Assist in formulating short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives for exponential customer adoption of the cloud platform.
  • Foster a passion for educating, training, and empowering cloud solutions experts in challenging customer scenarios.
  • Act as the voice of customers to Oracle's diverse cloud engineering teams.
  • Track product/program/project progress, executing necessary reporting and managing escalations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT or platform environment with large enterprises.
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical domain teams, including software development, cloud computing, system engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data analytics.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with enterprise IT and networking implementation, alongside a solid understanding of security and compliance issues.
  • Ability to develop detailed customer engagement plans to keep pace with the rapid feature delivery on the platform.
  • Deep understanding of the cloud competitive landscape, customer priorities, and challenges.
  • Proficiency in Linux.
  • Strong technical acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in migrating application portfolios to the cloud.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Strong exposure to Data Center, Infrastructure, and IT Operations.
  • Robust project management and reporting skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Japanese is preferred.
