Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven DevOps Architect with extensive expertise in infrastructure solutions. This role emphasizes Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within the realms of Cloud Development and DevOps. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in customer-facing consulting and leading teams in the development and delivery of cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirements gathering, analysis, and solution development for cloud-based DevOps initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project teams, functional architects, systems specialists, and other technical experts.
  • Oversee and execute projects remotely, playing a hands-on role in driving cloud migration and adoption from start to finish.
  • Take charge of technical presentations and deliverables.
  • Guide and mentor implementation teams, ensuring the successful deployment of the designed architecture.
  • Contribute to Cloud & Code thought leadership through publications and speaking opportunities as necessary.
  • Support the advancement of the Modern Data Center Practice and DevOps Team.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Terraform is essential.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure is required (preferably both).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Familiarity with Golang or Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD and a general understanding of automation tools like Jenkins. Knowledge of Spinnaker or TeamCity is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Security, Authentication, MFA, Authorization, B2C, Data Privacy, IAM, Cryptography/Key Management, Access Controls, and Security Protocols is advantageous.

Education and Experience:

  • Extensive experience with AWS and/or Azure technologies is mandatory.
  • 3-5+ years of overall industry experience.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Cloud architecture projects and deployments.
  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud solutions, platforms, and technologies.
  • 1+ years of experience across the business development lifecycle (including Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Pricing, and Proposal Development).
  • 1+ years of experience working with Kubernetes in a production environment.
  • Comfortable in an enterprise-level setting.
  • Mid-level to Expert proficiency with Terraform in Cloud Environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel approximately 25% or more each month.

Compensation:

The base salary for this full-time position in the US ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 per year, plus bonuses and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations. The offered base pay may vary within this range based on various factors, including work location, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.
