Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven DevOps Architect with extensive expertise in infrastructure solutions. This role emphasizes Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within the Cloud Development and DevOps landscape. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in client-facing consulting and will lead teams in the development and implementation of cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate requirements gathering, analysis, and the creation of cloud-based DevOps solutions.
  • Collaborate with project teams, functional architects, systems specialists, and other technical personnel.
  • Oversee and execute projects remotely, playing a hands-on role in cloud migration and adoption from inception to production.
  • Take charge of technical presentations and deliverables.
  • Guide and mentor implementation teams, ensuring the successful deployment of the designed architecture.
  • Contribute to Cloud & Code thought leadership through publications and speaking opportunities.
  • Support the growth and development of the Modern Data Center Practice and DevOps Team.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Terraform is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, preferably both.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/EKS is required.
  • Proficient in Golang or Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD and a general understanding of automation tools like Jenkins. Familiarity with Spinnaker or TeamCity is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of Security, Authentication, MFA, Authorization, B2C, Data Privacy, IAM, Cryptography/Key Management, Access Controls, and Security Protocols is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Extensive working experience with AWS and/or Azure technologies is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of overall industry experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in Cloud architecture projects and deployments.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Cloud solutions, platforms, and technologies.
  • 1+ years of experience throughout the business development life cycle, including Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Pricing, and Proposal Development.
  • 1+ years of production experience with Kubernetes.
  • Comfortable operating in an enterprise-level environment.
  • Mid-level to expert proficiency with Terraform in Cloud environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel approximately 25% or more each month.

Compensation:

The base salary for this full-time position in the US ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 annually, plus bonuses and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The displayed salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations. The base pay offered may vary within this range based on various factors, including work location, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.
