Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect with an active Secret Clearance to spearhead our cloud initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping the cloud strategy and delivering robust solutions that align with our clients' operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and drive the cloud vision, offering expert guidance in cloud infrastructure and service architecture.
  2. Engage with clients as a cloud technology advocate, leveraging IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions to create advanced analytics applications.
  3. Architect technical solutions for cloud analytics that ensure scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.
  4. Research and identify emerging cloud technologies to address existing infrastructure challenges.
  5. Collaborate with a team of subject matter experts to assess current environments and propose effective cloud architectures.
  6. Provide strategic and technical leadership for client teams involved in cloud migration and application development.
  7. Support multiple clients in evaluating their needs and developing innovative cloud solutions that adhere to industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise IT applications, with at least 3 years focused on architecting scalable BI and data analytics solutions.
  • Experience working with Federal government clients is essential.
  • Proficient in 'Big Data' technologies, particularly within the Hadoop ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud service providers, including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cloud solution implementations and change management initiatives.

Desired Skills:

  • Expertise in analytics tools and platforms such as Apache Spark and MongoDB.
  • Strong scripting abilities in languages like Python and Bash.
  • In-depth knowledge of IP networking and cloud architecture best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
