About the Role

Milliman is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Brookfield, WI. As a key member of our Property and Casualty practice, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective support for end-users, resolving technical issues and responding to incoming tickets and ad-hoc requests.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement technical process documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Prioritize tickets based on urgency and priority, utilizing your analytical skills to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and systems, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • Provide A/V support for in-office meetings, ensuring a professional and engaging experience for all attendees.
  • Develop and deliver technical training and orientation sessions for end-users, promoting a culture of technical excellence.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to resolve technical issues, leveraging your expertise and knowledge to drive results.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft software solution technologies, as well as hardware.
  • Proven help desk experience, preferably in an office or professional services environment.
  • Able to physically install and relocate equipment, including lifting 40 pounds and working in small or hard-to-reach spaces.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent requests.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with a positive approach to resolving technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Mac and/or non-Windows platforms, such as Linux or machine learning systems.
  • Certification in A+, Network+, MCP, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Professional customer service experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
