Key Responsibilities:

  2. Apply organizational and regulatory principles effectively in all tasks.
  3. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring proper sorting and documentation.
  4. Assist with various administrative tasks, including typing, creating reports, and handling correspondence.
  5. Prepare and review documents for accuracy, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  6. Maintain an organized filing system for easy retrieval of information.
  7. Compile and prepare statistical reports on a regular basis.
  8. Order supplies and manage inventory for the department.
  9. Respond to inquiries and provide information as needed.
  10. Coordinate schedules and maintain calendars for the department.
  11. Collaborate on special projects, either as a project manager or team member.
  12. Provide coverage for reception duties when required.
  13. Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities for Member Experience Team:

  1. Develop and maintain databases as necessary.
  2. Organize meetings and events, including logistics and catering.
  3. Document and distribute meeting minutes.
  4. Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
  5. Monitor faxes and ensure timely distribution.
  6. Process necessary forms and documentation.
  7. Handle invoicing and related paperwork for the team.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in an administrative support role or a fast-paced office environment.
  • Experience in managing mail and packages is essential.
  • Prior experience in the insurance sector is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with insurance principles and claims processing is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and claims.
  • Ability to manage outgoing mail efficiently.
  • Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle interruptions.
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively.
  • Analytical skills for data gathering and reporting.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to implement operational efficiencies.
