This full-time position will play a crucial role in providing essential support to our Operations department, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit dedication and conduct that aligns with the core values and mission of Network Health.
- Apply organizational and regulatory principles effectively in all tasks.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring proper sorting and documentation.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including typing, creating reports, and handling correspondence.
- Prepare and review documents for accuracy, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Maintain an organized filing system for easy retrieval of information.
- Compile and prepare statistical reports on a regular basis.
- Order supplies and manage inventory for the department.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information as needed.
- Coordinate schedules and maintain calendars for the department.
- Collaborate on special projects, either as a project manager or team member.
- Provide coverage for reception duties when required.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities for Member Experience Team:
- Develop and maintain databases as necessary.
- Organize meetings and events, including logistics and catering.
- Document and distribute meeting minutes.
- Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Monitor faxes and ensure timely distribution.
- Process necessary forms and documentation.
- Handle invoicing and related paperwork for the team.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of four years of experience in an administrative support role or a fast-paced office environment.
- Experience in managing mail and packages is essential.
- Prior experience in the insurance sector is preferred.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with insurance principles and claims processing is advantageous.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and claims.
- Ability to manage outgoing mail efficiently.
- Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle interruptions.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively.
- Analytical skills for data gathering and reporting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to implement operational efficiencies.
