Customer Service Specialist for Alterations

The Customer Service Specialist (CSS) plays a vital role within the Alterations division, dedicated to providing outstanding customer support. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the CSS undertakes a variety of responsibilities including greeting customers, scheduling appointments, addressing inquiries, and ensuring prompt service execution.
Core Responsibilities:- Deliver a warm and inviting atmosphere for all customers, both in-person and via phone.
- Efficiently manage customer traffic to guarantee a premium experience.
- Advocate for and assist customers with alteration services.
- Ensure the store is clean and well-organized.
- Support inventory management and process transactions at the checkout area.
Physical Requirements: This position necessitates standing, walking, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 10 pounds. Manual dexterity and clear vision are crucial for tasks such as operating POS systems and conducting fittings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in retail, ideally in the apparel sector
- Basic sewing skills are beneficial
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage
