Administrative Program Coordinator

The University of Arkansas System is seeking an Administrative Program Coordinator to provide administrative support for the Department of Industrial Engineering. This role will develop procedures to support degree audits, student advising, and management of student records. The successful candidate will communicate curriculum changes, program updates, class schedules, class assignments, and class reports. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will perform program research and data collection to compile reports for departmental, campus, and external agencies, including accreditation reviews. This position will also collect data and monitor the progress of meeting Student Learning Measures (SLM) for accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement procedures to support degree audits, student advising, and management of student records
* Communicate curriculum changes, program updates, class schedules, class assignments, and class reports
* Perform program research and data collection to compile reports for departmental, campus, and external agencies, including accreditation reviews
* Collect data and monitor the progress of meeting Student Learning Measures (SLM) for accreditation
* Manage the central office, serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, faculty, and staff, and provide administrative support for the department
Requirements:
* The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree with a major in business, sociology, public administration, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
* At least two years of experience in program administration or a related area
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least two years working in an administrative role in higher education
* Previous University of Arkansas experience using system software
* Experience as a project manager
* At least 2 years event or conference coordination experience
