Job Summary

DigiCert is seeking a highly skilled Global Payroll and Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and reviewing payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Oversee the processing of bi-weekly/monthly payroll in a fast-paced environment using multiple payroll systems.
  • Provide employees with information regarding paychecks and assist in resolving discrepancies/questions in regard to employee pay.
  • Ensure that the appropriate controls and procedures are in-place and being followed regarding payroll processing to ensure effective and efficient processes.
  • Work closely with Human Resources on programs such as benefits administration, personnel audits, 401(k) process, testing, and reporting, and other business reporting.
  • Coordinate timely and accurate transmission/receipt of payroll files and records to third-party payroll or benefit vendors and ensure payments made timely.
  • Maintain familiarity with current tax regulations and procedures.
  • Work with managers across all departments to ensure payroll is performed correctly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
  • 4+ years in Payroll Administration.
  • Knowledge of general payroll practices, IRS and multi-State regulations.
  • Excellent payroll administration skills with strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively and independently with senior management across the organization.
