Position Summary

We are in search of a driven and enthusiastic Insurance Account Manager to enhance our expanding Insurance sector. In this role, you will oversee all insurance accounts within your designated region while identifying new avenues for growth. Your responsibilities will include prospecting new insurance accounts and nurturing existing relationships, guiding clients on how to leverage location-based content to optimize their operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting

  • Engage with customers, prospects, and colleagues with respect and integrity.
  • Conduct high-volume prospecting of insurance leads through various methods including cold-calling and digital outreach.
  • Participate in industry events and training sessions as required.
  • Be open to feedback and collaboration with peers and management.
  • Work closely with Sales Development Representatives to create strategic territory plans with clear objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring timely updates and forecasts.
  • Deliver weekly status reports on deal progression and needs analysis.
  • Strategically align your opportunities with key executives to facilitate success.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all customer inquiries.
  • Start each day prepared to engage in meaningful conversations with clients and team members.

Sales Cycle Management

  • Utilize an effective sales methodology to build a robust pipeline and qualify opportunities.
  • Foster communication with team members to address unique customer challenges.
  • Craft compelling value propositions, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements.
  • Develop a quarterly sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain data integrity within CRM systems.

Team Collaboration

  • Contribute to the development of sales policies and best practices.
  • Share insights and successes with the team to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Welcome constructive feedback to enhance personal and team performance.
  • Engage in team-building activities and support team members in achieving collective goals.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, preferably in software or SaaS environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance sector.
  • A strong track record of generating new business and consistently exceeding sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic solution selling and a strong desire to achieve top performance.
  • Adaptability to change in a fast-paced SaaS environment is crucial.
