Job Overview:

The role involves delivering outstanding customer service, performing market research, and managing various aspects of leasing operations, including property showings, application processing, and overseeing resident move-ins. Responsibilities also include daily updates of unit availability, processing maintenance requests, adhering to operational procedures and policies, and managing collections in line with company standards. The position extends to clerical and telephonic support, ensuring resident files are accurate, and supervising move-in appointments and inspections to meet organizational standards. The candidate must showcase the ability to address resident concerns, conduct move-out inspections, and manage deposit accounting with the Community Manager's approval. Maintaining precise account records, including NSF's, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and other management-approved transactions, is crucial. Additionally, the role encompasses performing tasks or duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Physical Demands:
  • The team member will frequently be required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using their feet, legs, back, arms, and hands. The employee may occasionally need to climb. Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will be required to work at a personal computer and communicate on the phone for extended periods. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends as needed.
Attendance/Travel:
  • This position is full-time and may require availability to work some evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. The role also necessitates regular attendance and active participation/planning at company functions and events.

Qualifications:

Computer Skills:
  • Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Preferred knowledge of the following software programs: Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, Resident Check.
Learning and Development:
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and career growth through the company's continuing education programs.
Education:
  • High school education or equivalent is required.
  • CPM, CAM, RMP, or CMCA Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions and utilize all on-site resident management software functions.
Professional Experience:
  • Two years of experience in residential community management within the multifamily industry is required.
