The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical recruitment, whether in a corporate setting or staffing agency. This role encompasses the entire talent acquisition lifecycle at ATB, requiring proficiency in crafting and refining job descriptions, sourcing and pre-screening candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting background checks, and extending job offers. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable with proactive recruitment strategies, including reaching out to passive candidates through various channels such as referrals, networking, educational job fairs, social media, and job boards.
As a representative of ATB at job fairs, you will promote our organization and cultivate a pipeline of potential candidates, thereby strengthening our technical talent pool. You will collaborate closely with senior management and report directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the proactive recruitment initiatives for the organization.
- Revise and enhance job descriptions as necessary.
- Source and evaluate candidates effectively.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn, trade schools, and networking events.
- Engage in ongoing outreach to potential candidates.
- Screen candidate resumes and forward qualified applicants to hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospective and actual applicants in our tracking system.
- Coordinate all interview schedules, both onsite and remote.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies as required.
- Facilitate interview preparation and provide coaching to internal staff, gathering feedback post-interview.
- Negotiate job offers and conduct reference checks and other necessary background verifications.
- Build strong relationships to establish a talent pipeline for future openings.
- Utilize both passive and direct sourcing techniques, exploring new methods to attract candidates, including potential incentives.
- Effectively communicate ATB Technologies' mission, strategy, and core values to candidates.
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers and recruiting colleagues to share insights and best practices.
- Engage with Human Resource Associations and industry groups to source talent.
- Maintain employee records, updating information as needed.
- Disseminate HR-related announcements as directed by management.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 12 months of experience in full life cycle recruiting within a corporate or recruitment environment.
- Understanding of candidate sourcing techniques, including networking and social media.
- Strong prospecting skills and creativity in candidate sourcing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates.
- Resourceful and quick to learn.
- Ability to prioritize staffing needs and meet deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems in a high-volume recruiting environment.
- Prior experience in payroll processing and HR assistance is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with IT terminology and roles.
- 12+ months of experience in IT recruitment.
- Proven ability to manage expectations and relationships effectively.
- Experience in a metrics-driven recruitment environment.
- High attention to detail.
- A degree in Human Resources, Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.
