Position Overview

This role is supported by state funding and is subject to periodic review.


OBJECTIVE: To deliver administrative assistance to the planning committee for the designated service area.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Offer clerical support including document preparation, printing, and organization of files.
  • Develop captivating content for social media platforms and implement a strategy for digital engagement.
  • Oversee communication channels for public feedback and submissions.
  • Document and disseminate minutes from meetings.
  • Organize meetings and events for the planning committee.
  • Maintain records and reports for the organization.
  • Address public inquiries related to the planning committee's activities.
  • Assist with special initiatives to improve efficiency.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years in an administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with social media and WordPress is advantageous.
  • Positive demeanor with effective multitasking skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Involves prolonged periods of sitting or standing, occasional lifting, and regular use of office equipment. Interaction with clients and public engagement is expected.
