Job OverviewThe HCM Manager will play a key role in driving employee engagement, managing HCM operations, and supporting the unique needs of our fast-paced organization. This strategic partner will work closely with leadership to ensure that all HCM initiatives align with the company's objectives, focusing on talent onboarding, employee relations, performance management, recruiting, HRIS management, and compliance.
Responsibilities- Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the company culture.
- Recruiting: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Supervise the full-cycle recruiting process, from job postings to candidate selection, ensuring the attraction of top talent. Utilize data to assess and improve recruitment practices, focusing on quality hires and retention.
- Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment. Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues promptly and effectively. Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, ensuring an open and supportive communication channel.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Develop and implement strategies to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover. Lead initiatives that enhance the company culture and promote a positive work environment. Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to monitor engagement and take action on areas of improvement.
- HRIS Management: Act as System Administration with HCM Senior Leadership and oversee daily HRIS operations, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality. Maintain employee records and generate HCM reports for decision-making. Identify and implement enhancements to HRIS functionality and provide training on best practices.
- Compliance & HR Operations: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Manage HCM metrics and reporting, using data to inform decision-making. Administer employee benefits and other HCM-related operations. Administer and manage all leave of absence requests, including FMLA, disability, and other statutory leaves.
- Must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for this position.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Human Capital Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of HR/HCM experience, with at least 2 years in a management role, preferably in a sales agency or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR/HCM practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software.
