Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, administering performance and attendance discipline, and maintaining accurate records in our quality management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to employees, responding to requests and questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Administer and track performance and attendance discipline, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Complete I-9 forms, verify documentation, and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with employee letters, new hire and termination processes
  • Coordinate and assist with recruitment and interview processes
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, and employee events
  • Orientate new employees to the organization, ensuring a smooth onboarding process
  • Maintain documentation in the quality management system, auditing and updating documents as needed
  • Update HRIS database records and process paperwork for new hires, terminations, and other status changes
  • Create new employee personnel files and maintain accurate records
  • Be visible and present on the operations floor, communicating with employees and management
  • Upload communications into the company's internal communication system
  • Assist with tracking and administering recognition programs
  • Recommend actions to improve key processes within HR
  • Ensure compliance with EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines
  • Adhere to Labor Law and Wage & Hour regulations
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a similar role
  • Positive and personable demeanor
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Oracle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience dealing with a large employee population
