Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager/Judicial Assistant to join our team at the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. As a key member of our staff, you will provide administrative support to our judges and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to judges and staff, including preparing documents, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with court policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve office efficiency and productivity.
- Provide exceptional customer service to court staff, visitors, and the public.
- Stay up-to-date on court policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure the office is running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or office management role, preferably in a judicial or government setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
