Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing and directing the activities of staff responsible for worklife initiatives, employee benefits, and quality control throughout the Patent and Trademark Office. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing leadership, evaluating programs, and recommending policies and procedures. Additionally, the incumbent must possess supervisory competencies such as accountability, customer service, decisiveness, flexibility, integrity, interpersonal skills, oral communication, problem-solving, resilience, and written communication.

Responsibilities

This position is located in the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, Office of Human Resources, Compensation and Benefits Division, Benefits and Worklife Branch. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, and assigning work; collaborating with peers and subordinates to assure effective advisory services; and ensuring continuous progress. The position requires experience in applying broad benefits human resources principles, practices, regulations, and policies. The incumbent must also possess the following supervisory competencies:
