Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our sales floor at Greenway Store (32nd St & Greenway). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Retail Operations Plan: Develop and execute a comprehensive retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
  • Monitor Product Levels and Inventory Control: Monitor product levels (floor work, as-is, recycle, trash, seasonal back stock) daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.
  • Manage Payroll and Operating Costs: Ensure payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.
  • Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Ensure Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
  • Lead Sales Floor Operations: Lead the day-to-day operations of the sales floor, ensuring that Retail Store Associates and Customer Service Manager are well-trained and fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
  • Act as a Goodwill Ambassador: Serve as a Goodwill ambassador to the community, promoting the Goodwill mission and values.
  • Manage Store Operations: Ensure that store locations are clean, well-kept, and reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately.
  • Partner with Support Areas: Partner with support areas (Asset Protection, Human Resources, Safety, Finance, etc.) to further business goals and ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Build a High-Performing Team: Build a high-performing team, responsible for performance management (coaching, discipline, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews), staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.
  • Drive Company Culture Change: Play a critical role in driving company culture change efforts and change management processes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Retail Management Experience: One-year work experience in Retail Management required.
  • Customer Service Experience: One-year customer service experience required.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Background Check and Drug Screen: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
  • English Proficiency: Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
