We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Sales, Public Sector to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our public sector sales efforts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key government officials, agencies, and industry groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of account executives responsible for building partnerships with public sector organizations, including state, local, and federal government agencies.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to secure government contracts and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet government clients' needs.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing government clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals and bids for government contracts.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a minimum of 5 years in people leadership.
  • Success in building public sector partnerships is required.
  • Proven track record of success in selling complex solutions to government agencies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events (25%).
  • A deep passion to transform the U.S. healthcare system, especially mental health.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a thoughtful and collaborative approach to sales.
  • Entrepreneurial focus with a determination to succeed in an innovative, fast-paced environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Humility, resourcefulness, directness, ambition, extreme comfortability with change.
  • Emotional intelligence and an empathetic nature.
