SpectrumVoIP is a leading provider of cloud-hosted phone services, seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Mid-Market Account Executive to join our team in Nashville, TN.


Job Summary


The successful candidate will be responsible for building a pipeline of customers in their territory, leveraging their sales expertise to identify and pursue new business opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of sales concepts, methods, and techniques, as well as excellent communication and time management skills.


Key Responsibilities


  • Prospect for new business opportunities through cold calling, canvassing, and leveraging their territory and network.
  • Consult with small business owners to understand their pain points and develop customized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Service and grow existing account base by planning and organizing daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
  • Develop new customers by researching market segments, identifying target customers, and cultivating new relationships.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and overall trends.
  • Negotiate new account and existing account contract/purchase order renewals.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of professional selling experience, with a preference for solutions sales selling skills.
  • A valid driver's license and valid public liability and property damage insurance.
  • Cold calling experience and a proven track record of networking and prospecting new clients.
  • The ability to travel, which may include overnight/weekend travel.

Compensation


  • $50,000-$70,000 / year + variable compensation.
