Job Overview

The APR Insurance team is seeking a skilled Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our dynamic insurance team. As a Commercial Lines Account Executive or Client Relationship Manager, you will act as a primary agent for Producer assigned accounts, managing mid-market client relationships and leading a dedicated service team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage client services and maintain strong relationships with minimal oversight from Producers.
  • Direct a service team to effectively manage a mid-market book of business.
  • Participate in interviews and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Analyze and present renewal options to clients, selling renewal business and additional coverage lines.
  • Promote various services offered by APR through tailored Producer Service Proposals.
  • Provide expert analysis and recommendations on clients' existing coverage plans.
  • Select carriers for solicitation, negotiating beneficial terms and premiums.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries, including benefits and claims issues.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of client coverage contracts and amendments.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with third-party vendors on behalf of clients.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in the insurance field.
  • Professional designations such as CIC, CISR, CSRM, AAI are a plus.
Skills:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Teamwork-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in planning, organization, and prioritization.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, AMS360 or Applied TAM/EPIC.
Salary Context:

The national average salary for similar roles ranges from $75,000 to $95,000, excluding bonuses or benefits. The offered base pay will be determined based on experience, skills, certifications, education, and internal equity considerations.
