Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional support to MAPMG physicians throughout the licensure and hospital privileging process, ensuring a seamless experience by anticipating needs, addressing concerns promptly, and achieving effective resolutions
- Utilize a web-based tracking system to manage and monitor required license and hospital privileging activities, ensuring timely submission of new applications and renewals ahead of deadlines
- Ensure accuracy in completing, verifying, and uploading license and hospital privileging applications into the web-based system
- Collaborate closely with the Credentialing Department at Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States (KPMAS) to facilitate prompt credentialing for both new and existing physicians
- Coordinate closely with hospitals to facilitate timely hospital privileging for new and existing physicians
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience with state medical licensing, credentialing, and/or hospital privileging requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong accuracy and attention to details
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- The ability to commute to our regional office in Capitol Hill, Washington DC on an as-needed basis
- Candidates must either currently live in or be willing to relocate to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area
- Must provide documentation of the Covid vaccine 2-dose series (or J&J 1-dose) prior to October 1, 2023, or documentation for 1-dose of the most current Covid vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) as a condition of employment. Must provide documentation for the influenza vaccine as a condition of employment.
