Position Overview
This role is integral to our team at Husco, where we are seeking dedicated and skilled Project Engineers to enhance our Automotive divisions.

Role Summary
As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our esteemed clients to provide cutting-edge solutions aimed at improving vehicle performance. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Engaging in project management from prototype development through to production launch.
  • Fostering strong internal collaboration and delivering exceptional external customer support.
  • Utilizing your technical expertise to drive product innovation and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Ownership: Lead the development of 1-2 customer applications, overseeing all phases from initial build to production launch. This includes managing supplier development and ongoing program enhancements.
  • Design Control: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of product specifications and ensure all design documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as a liaison with clients during project launches, addressing inquiries and fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Technical Project Management: Exhibit strong project management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and effective problem-solving.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within diverse teams to achieve project goals while maintaining a focus on quality and timelines.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in product development or operational processes.
  • Familiarity with product design, testing, supplier relations, and customer service.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic control systems and engineering drawing standards.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively across various levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
