In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Control Systems Engineering Manager to design and implement sophisticated control systems tailored for custom machining projects that leverage automation principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop control systems for bespoke machining initiatives
  • Apply automation methodologies effectively

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering
  • Proficiency in hardware design, PLC, HMI, Vision Systems, and robotics programming
  • Experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs is essential
  • Understanding of contemporary programmable controllers and associated technologies

Role Duties:

  • Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI software
  • Integrate safety measures and industrial network systems
  • Conduct equipment testing and resolve operational issues
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for project-related tasks
