Role Overview:
The Event Marketing Internship offers a unique opportunity to engage in and support various digital marketing and promotional activities for AEG's venues. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of the Marketing and Event departments. This role will emphasize branding, client presentations, video production, and digital asset creation, alongside advertising and promotional campaigns for concerts and family events. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, and social media content creation, and should be available for occasional evening and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and develop presentations for event marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation of various marketing materials, including venue calendars and promotional posters.
  • Capture and curate content for social media marketing efforts.
  • Edit and produce video content as required by the department.
  • Support the design of promotional artwork for upcoming events.
  • Contribute to marketing strategies and assist in crafting marketing copy.
  • Shadow the Marketing Manager and team members during events to gain insights into marketing and operations.
  • Participate in grassroots marketing initiatives.
  • Attend regular meetings for Arena Operations, Events, and Marketing.
  • Execute specific projects and promotional activities as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as required.
Working Conditions:
  • Standard office environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Flexibility to work during events as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum:
    1. High school diploma or GED required.
    2. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
    3. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Preferred:
    1. Pursuing or holding a degree in a related field.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Capable of working independently and demonstrating a professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to team objectives.
  • Availability for evening and weekend work.
Compensation:
  • Hourly rate of $18.29.
