  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify guest reservation needs and determine the most suitable room type and rate.
  • Explain hotel policies and procedures to guests, including guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
  • Accommodate and document special requests, such as room upgrades or amenities.
  • Answer questions about hotel facilities and services, including room accommodations.
  • Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and ensure accurate billing.
  • Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Input and access data in reservation systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of reservation systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for long periods.
