Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is a leading American Sports and Entertainment organization based in Denver, Colorado. KSE is dedicated to delivering exceptional sports and entertainment experiences for both live and broadcast audiences. We operate several prominent venues and sports teams, making us a key player in the industry.

Nature of Work:

The Venue Marketing Internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and assist with various digital marketing and promotional initiatives for our venues. Interns will engage in the daily operations of the Booking and Event departments. This role will emphasize branding, client recaps, digital content creation, advertising, promotional campaigns, ticket sales initiatives, and more for concerts and family events. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, social media content creation, and be available for some evening and weekend work.

Examples of Work Performed:
  • Conduct research and develop recaps or presentations for concert marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in creating various venue artwork assets, including monthly venue calendars and promotional posters.
  • Capture engaging content for social media campaigns.
  • Edit and produce video content for departmental needs.
  • Support the creation of artwork for upcoming events.
  • Assist with marketing purchases as needed and craft marketing copy.
  • Shadow the Manager and team members during events in a marketing/publicity capacity and other operations departments.
  • Contribute to grassroots marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in weekly meetings for Arena Operations, Event, and Booking.
  • Execute specific projects and promotions as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
  • Typical Office Conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. daily.
  • Work event schedules as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    1. High school diploma or GED required.
    2. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
    3. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Colorado driver's license and meet company vehicle driving standards required.
  • Preferred
    1. BS/BA degree in a related field or currently pursuing a degree in a relevant area.
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple departments and organizations.
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Strong professional presence.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to team objectives.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • All Colorado Interns are required to attend all KSE Internship Program hosted events that occur during business hours. If unable to attend due to work, school, or unforeseen circumstances, the Intern must inform the Internship Program Committee.
  • All Interns are required to participate in the KSE Mentorship Program by meeting with their assigned Mentor at least for the initial meet-up.
Compensation:
  • Base hourly range $18.29 per hour.
