Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is a premier American Sports and Entertainment organization located in Denver, Colorado. KSE is dedicated to delivering exceptional sports and entertainment experiences for both live and broadcast audiences. We operate notable venues and teams, including Ball Arena and the Denver Nuggets.

Nature of Work:

The Venue Marketing Internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and contribute to various digital marketing and promotional activities for our venues. Interns will engage in the daily operations of the Booking and Event departments. This role will emphasize branding, client recaps, video production, artwork creation, advertising strategies, promotional campaigns, ticket sales initiatives, and more for concerts and family events. The ideal candidate should possess a strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, social media content creation, and should be available for some evening and weekend work.

Examples of Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and develop presentations for concert marketing strategies.
  • Assist in the creation of various venue artwork assets, including monthly calendars and promotional posters.
  • Capture engaging content for social media marketing campaigns.
  • Edit and produce video content for departmental needs.
  • Support the creation of promotional materials for upcoming events.
  • Assist with marketing purchases as required and draft marketing copy.
  • Shadow the Manager and team members during events in a marketing capacity.
  • Contribute to grassroots marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in weekly meetings for Arena Operations, Events, and Booking.
  • Execute specific projects and promotions as assigned.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as required.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
  • Typical Office Environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Flexibility to work event schedules as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    1. High school diploma or GED required.
    2. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
    3. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Colorado driver's license and meet company driving standards is required.
  • Preferred
    1. BS/BA degree in a related field or currently pursuing a degree in a relevant area.
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple departments and organizations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to team objectives.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • All Colorado Interns are required to attend all KSE Internship Program events that occur during business hours. If unable to attend due to work, school, or unforeseen circumstances, the Intern must inform the Internship Program Committee.
  • All Interns are required to participate in the KSE Mentorship Program by meeting with their assigned Mentor at least once initially.
Compensation:
  • Base hourly rate of $18.29 per hour.
