About the Role

T. Marzetti Company, a leading manufacturer and marketer of specialty food products, is seeking an experienced sales leader to join our team as an Executive Vice President of Sales and Customer Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Field Sales Team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth across key retail and foodservice customers.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for each brand across each customer in the growth channel.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including Kroger, Publix, Food Lion, and Ahold Divisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services.
  • Manage trade spending and ensure effective budget management.
  • Align with the Demand Planning team to provide optimal service levels and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10-12 years of professional experience in consumer-packaged goods with a background in sales, sales planning, category management, trade development, and/or customer finance/revenue growth management.
  • BS in business-related degree; MBA preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching, developing, and engaging others to achieve business and individual goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships inside and outside the organization.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a normal office environment with occasional travel required for customer, broker, and HQ meetings.
