Immediate Hiring: Territory Sales Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct face-to-face interviews in the homes of participants.
  • Navigate various types of buildings, including secured and gated communities, as well as different types of entrances to potential participants' residences.
  • Travel to designated homes within your assigned territory using a company vehicle.
  • Approach selected households in a door-to-door manner, with or without prior appointments.
  • Persuade households, both over the phone and in person, to engage in Nielsen's TV, Radio, and Computer Research.

Qualifications:

  • Enjoy engaging with diverse individuals.
  • Exhibit the ability to effectively communicate the significance of participating in Nielsen Ratings.
  • Possess relevant experience in customer service, market research, educational outreach, social services, or door-to-door sales.
  • Be flexible with a non-traditional work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Meet the minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma or GED, or possess equivalent work experience of 2+ years.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using tablets and smartphones, including email and spreadsheet applications.
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Consistently achieve individual performance metrics.

Physical Demands:

The role requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year-round, visiting homes door-to-door. Candidates must be able to:

  • Navigate stairs, elevators, and different types of walkways.
  • Engage with individuals in their homes for extended periods, regardless of the home's condition.
  • Travel outside of the local market up to 25% of the time.
  • Drive for extended periods, stand for several hours, kneel, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000, adjusted based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including experience and training.
