Role Overview:
The Sales Associate position plays a vital role in the overall success and operational efficiency of the store. This role requires a strong commitment to our brand values while providing exceptional service to our clientele and driving sales performance.

The Sales Associate is responsible for embodying Coach's Service and Selling Models, ensuring a positive initial interaction, cultivating ongoing customer relationships through personalized experiences, and leaving a memorable impression.


Sales Floor Responsibilities:
- Understand organizational goals and make decisions that align with company priorities.
- Take ownership of personal performance and store metrics, developing personal sales strategies in collaboration with management.
- Create both short- and long-term strategies to meet personal performance objectives.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Coach, consistently demonstrating our Selling and Service expectations.
- Stay informed about local market changes that may impact business performance and assist in executing local sales strategies.
- Drive sales through effective strategies, clienteling, and nurturing productive customer relationships.
- Present a polished image that aligns with Coach's Guide to Style, building credibility as a fashion advisor.
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge, including features, benefits, and current offerings.
- Effectively communicate pricing and promotional strategies to customers.
- Utilize cross-selling techniques to enhance customer shopping experiences.
- Tailor approaches to meet individual customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with customers to influence and close sales.
- Adapt personal selling techniques to contribute positively to overall store performance.
- Leverage Coach's tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling efforts.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and maintain a solution-oriented mindset.

Operational Duties:
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed without compromising service or Coach standards.
- Perform daily operational responsibilities, including maintaining store appearance and visual merchandising to Coach standards.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization on the sales floor at all times.
- Adhere to all retail policies and procedures, including POS and Asset Protection protocols.
- Support inventory processes by managing stock levels and maintaining organizational standards.
- Assist at the cash wrap as needed for transactions, returns, and exchanges.

Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years in a sales role, preferably within a luxury retail environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including the use of mobile devices and the internet.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a fast pace, communicate effectively, and manage physical tasks such as lifting and moving products.
- Schedule Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays during peak retail periods.
